Why do they insist on crawling as close to my face as they can? They all do this.
Remember the body temperature difference - and your neck is really warm. I think they place a premium on very close face-to-face encounters between friends. Often two Buckeyes will stand with their chests almost or slightly touching before they begin preening together. Peanut moved close to Hazel like that yesterday.

I need to think, that my chooks love me so much, they have the need to stay as close as possible.

Is that the flat panel that looks like a tv? Have one of those and I love it, but one hen hogs it hahaha, I want one I can hang so the little ones can get under it.
I have a brinsea that I got on sale at mypetchicken.com. I bought it kind of on a whim since it was such a good sale. Now I'm really glad I have it for Phyllis.
