What brand are using? I have Swann wifi in the 4 stalls, but Reolink in the alleyway, Hen House, and outside the barn mix of Power-over-Ethernet (POE), and wifi.
I use Arlo wireless cameras. They are battery powered because, well, no power in the coop. 🤣 They link wirelessly to a base station that is attached to my router. I link to them via an app or over the web through a website.

Well, I could not wait any longer and candled the eggs. There may have been just the start of things going on but I'm not sure and it was early. I'm going to leave them alone until they have been in a week now and if they look like they did this evening I will pull them. I am not going to get my hopes up now as with them being in 3 full days I really should have saw something. It will be disappointing but it is just probably not meant to be. And looking at it this way, March 1st when I will begin collecting to load up the incubator again is really not that far away.

It's a good brand. Lots of awesome technology out there.

I am trying to talk her into getting rid of the two ducks. They are messy and also very cold in this weather. I don't mind bringing her hens to my place for the winter but not the messy ducks!
Aaawww, they are messy, but they are such wonderful creatures, and much more cold hardy than the chickens!

Water outside coop only! In winter/cold, I line floor with hay or straw on top of either small shavings or pelleted bedding for them. Change out hay/straw daily. (This works well for me as I toss it into the run on top of any remnants of snow blown in or missed by the shovel,

and both the chickens and ducks are happy about that!

I'm sure I must owe some taxes for something by now, (@MaryJanet , ;))

Forgot to add the chicken tax 👍

This is Roxanne and Stanley, they were killed by a fox one evening, a hard lesson to learn... ☹️ I was optimistic Roxanne was hen, till he started crowing !
