That was Phyllis trilling. What do you think it means? Dotty was making the same noise this morning.
Phyllis does that all the time. Usually when she seems to want my attention. Like if I am walking by the coop and don't go in. She seems to call out like that. I have no idea why she might be doing that in this video.

Something I Never Thought I would See!

Betty flew into the coop door today at roosting time. I have video from both inside and outside the coop. You need to watch closely because it happens very fast. Here is where to watch for the impact with each video.

Quite possibly the craziest chicken related thing I have ever seen.
Yep. If you can see through it, you can go through it, everybody knows that! Hope she's okay. It was from a side angle at least...

Tina has been limping I don't know if she's pricked her foot on a bramble I've looked but can't see anything or if it's her joint I was thinking she may have landed badly coming off the perch.

If she's permanently lame I'm moving her in my home, she can go out every day but there's no way I'm giving up on my cutest girl
If it is a slight limp I would not worry too much. If she is limping badly she may benefit from a brief period of cage rest. Do not give up on her though, Butter proved that to me. If Butter can fully recover from a kick that left her paralyzed on one side, Tina can hopefully recover from her limp.
