I was thinking of that. Take my spitzhauben for example. I rarely find his feathers on the floor, and if I do, it’s only 1 at a time.

Well, shoot. I popped on to catch up this morning and you guys are too busy!
Lots going on trying to find a place thst will allow the dog snd chickens. Went to see something promising yesterday! We’d have to pay $700 more in rent, but that’s doable, especially if I stop paying a house cleaner. We’d either have to have a major purge, or else put stuff in storage. We’ll probably purge, as paying to store stuff we haven’t used in ages doesn’t make sense.

How much time do you have left to find a place? I hope it is not an emergency situation. It cannot be easy to find a place to accommodate you all.

Yep lacy gauzy curtains for my girls, encourage them to lay pretty eggs. Only problem is they are full of dust, feathers and bugs now hahaha!

It's hard to keep nice things with chickens around.

I didn’t move them in. I moved them to the roost near the heater but still inside th Chicken Palace.
Tonight is another cold night (down to 10) then we get a couple of days break before it all returns. Hopefully she will use the time to grow some feathers!

oops! I misread that. Even better that th3 heater worked for them. Hopefully they will choose it tonight. Are you certain you are looking at the weather correctly. We are only going down to 20°F tonight.
