Henny Penny looks very aversive, and dangerous to our existing government status. Was she carrying any weapons on her? Did she speak with any foreign accent? Did our president hide under the bed, when notified of the intrusion? Gezz, she’s just a pretty little hen. Pardon her, let her out of prison!

She makes that sound whenever she sees me. Whether she is with the other girls or not. I always thought she was trying to get my attention, mostly because it worked.

Maybe that’s all she wants from you… just your attention. Pretty sweet.

BoPeeps has struck again. All I wanted to do is give her some treats. (She bites hard) She’s the only biter in the tribe. I can’t understand why she’s like that?

I'm so worried that Betty will start roosting somewhere else. She is looking every night for somewhere other than by Phyllis. Then when she finally gets up successfully, Betty always scoots down next to Phyllis and Phyllis goes after her again. If I just separated the roost with wire for a few days they could see each other without the abuse.

The interesting thing here is the information that AFTER getting chased around the Hut, prevented from getting on the roost and eventually getting on, Betty pushes it further by scooting down towards Phyllis. If it was going that badly you'd think she'd keep a little distance for now. But no, gotta shuffle closer. She knows, instinctively or through experience, what she's aiming for, and by golly, she's going for it. I'll read ahead, but if there's no blood then Betty's fine, and Phyllis, poor diva, will eventually adjust.

I'm reminded of Queenie's determination to sit on the low day perch with everybody, right in there next to somebody, and Hazel beside herself, going at Queenie from all sides, even tugging on her comb to pull her off, but essentially not out for blood, and none was shed. Queenie just closed her eyes and lowered her head and took it.
