Looking at this pic, remembering they are primarily fruit eaters, sigh of relief. Then remembering how the lady at the pet store described their poop… something about the projectile spinning vomit scene in “the exorcist” (original movie) but from the other end… suddenly terrified for this poor little girl!

Ok. We are now doing Pony Sunday. It is decreed. Those with ponies may post pictures on Sundays.

So it is said, so it shall be done.

Do I have to go find the horses now and take picks of them? Donny is most certainly NOT a “pony” lol (half draft horse, he’s huge) Isla is pretty tall too… oh and Raymond found a new home, where he will get more activity with very experienced horse people who can handle him properly. So, we are down to just the two and hoping they don’t add any more

I returned that laptop, and consistently refuse the pizza’s that get delivered to the house! If only I could find that cell phone and my missing credit card!

It finally has gotten up to 18F today and the sun is actually shining so we opened the doors to let some fresh air blow through the house. Look who came strolling in, and got treats for their efforts.

Now they are out in the front yard doing their best at bathing in the narrow strip of snow-free land, and thoroughly enjoying it.

Still nothing but a couple feet of cold whiteness in the back yard, though.

Most of mine has melted except in shaded areas. I made the mistake of going for a wander. Sank up to my ankles in mud. Considered calling the fire department to winch me out but figured they would get stuck in it too.
It needs a couple more drying days to be walkable. Unfortunately more snow is expected next week.

Glad you made it out without the fire dept! Winter is way too long for my liking.
