What concerns me is what appears to be heavy breathing. Seems a lot more motion in the back end than would be normal for just free-ranging. Comb color good, and always good or changing? Does her belly feel normal?

Her belly does feel normal. Comb color is good for Lilly. This is a hen that lays 2 or 3 eggs a year! I would really be surprised if she is trying to lay an egg. I'm not ruling it out but it would be a surprise.

Okay, I'm going out on a limb here:
1)Muscrat or raccoon (can't tell if the front paw print extends down enough for a raccoon - too many philanges for an opossum) But I think 2 of these, whatever they are.

2) Fox
3) Some sort of bird (toes on some look too short to be chicken.)
4) Looks like at least one set of your hen tracks.

I really wanted it to be an opossum, as you mentioned fruit thieving wildlife, and 'possums are notorious for that. Much rather an opossum around than a raccoon, any day!

I was thinking the bird could be a wild turkey.

I have come to the conclusion, that my chicken friends are completely crazy! I’m thinking that it’s probably the living situation that they are in. Seems like everybody In this Valley, are missing a few screws in their machines! (Just my opinion)
