I don't like eurethane because of the yellowish cast so I did not use it. I tried something new that came in a spray can and promised no yellowing. I don't believe that is still stuck to any of them. The first two are different wood than the others. The paint stuck to that wood better after the weather was able to hit it than the other 4. Betty's will be made from that wood. I need to find a different sealant this time. What did you use for a sealant?
I've only ever used spar-eurethane (clear) for stuff like that, but I don't know what type of paint you used, if you could use clear eurathne over it or not. It would give a slight yellowish cast, but not much. The only other thing I know of that you can use is epoxy (like for bar tops or floors)...they probably would have the same issue (almost clear, but not quite.)
Interesting that the first 2 look great! Did you use something different on them? Or did you use more coats of the sealant on the first 2? Odd that they still look great versus the other 4.....![]()
