So what are they? I'm assuming names will need some thought.
They have not divulged their names to me yet.
Right now their main skill is in convincing me that I have killed them. I relaxed a bit this morning when I saw they were pretty lively.
This may be literally the only time in my life when I know something that others don't about a chicken breed!
In theory I know what they are and even which is which so all guesses welcome. I will be happy to supply pictures of any part of each Princesse-in-waiting and from any angle. I already need to upgrade my data plan to accommodate the number of photos I took of them and I haven't even had them 24 hours yet. They were hatched on Monday and I went to collect them yesterday.

Does this mean they're the same breed?

Am I correct in seeing rose comb on the little blue and chipmunk ones and a straight on the black?
Oh, I am not sure, and not sure I would know what I was looking at!
That sounds like an invitation to post some head shots and I will do so shortly.
Right now I need to go out to tend to the bigger Princesses and as the littles are in quarantine (while their Marek's shots 'take'), that involves a bit of changing of clothes.
I will go back later to the baby place and get some close-ups.
In all the pictures I have already I can't even see that any of them have any kind of comb but maybe I didn't get close enough.

Rose and pea combs tend to look kinda like flat knobs across the beak and extending up into the fluff. Straight combs don't spread the fluff as much, have a tiny spiky ridge going up the head and don't have as much of a cross ridge on the beak.

Edit: where comb will grow on later. You're kinda looking at the shape outline/foundation

They're awfully cute and I've never seen a blue chipmunk before. Should be interesting watching them feather out.
When you say 'blue' chipmunk you are referring to the sort of pale grey colored one? I never know what blue means in chickens - but you are right there are stripes visible!
They are growing like weeds. When I got them home yesterday I was worried about the blue one because she was so tiny and seemed sleepy. This morning she pretty much flew right at my face!
The brown chipmunk one is the most 'robust' and has a worrying habit of pecking everybody else (including me).

OK! Thank you. Now I know what to look for I will definitely have a close study of their cute little faces.
