I was just conversing with Aurora about hers today. It does no good, but I try.Sure does. It gets very tiresome.

That's not a bad idea.I can't remember what they are called - tube men maybe - like car dealerships have huge ones.

Marvelous! I love a great cat story. She's been here
I have posted the odd pic of her when I remember hahaha.
She is my pipeline kitty: one day on the Line 3 project I was chatting with our welding Inspector about our pets, I was lamenting about missing having a cat, my last cat had died a couple years prior. Next thing I know someone dropped a wee kitten on my desk.
'what is that?' I asked
'its a cat' was the cheeky reply from the guilty inspector (not the welding Inspector).
'oh a cat ok well were did you get it?' asks a skeptical me.
'well we heard you talking and figured you needed a pet...'
After some further interrogation he told me that one of the guys pulled into the construction yard and when he shut his truck down it was 'meowing'. They found the kitten up behind the passenger side headlight. The guys ended up calling her Mizz Georgette Bootsie.
And that is how I ended up with a cat from Brandon Manitoba hahahaha.
We flew home first class hahaha.
When I went to the airport in Winnipeg, I had her in her carrier as I was keeping her in the cabin with me. I put my carry-on onto the convertor to go through the x-ray machine. I had the carrier in my hands.
'ma'am you need to put the carrier through the xray'
'ok' I said and plopped the carrier onto the conveyor.
'ma'am you have to remove the cat'
'oh yep that's not happening! If she gets loose she will be gone forever!' I told the young security guy
'you can't send the animal through, it's against the rules' he said
'its ok she can go through, it can be a cat scan' I said very straight faced..... The guy in line behind me snickered laughing....
'i am sorry ma'am we cannot send the cat through the xray' he obviously had no sense of humour....
'well I am not taking her out of that case here in the open, come on she will be fine, it will be a good cat scan' I gave him another chance - buddy behind me was openly laughing now.
Nope still no humour hahaha.
Anyways another security person (who over heard us and was laughing) came by, taking pity on the poor young guy, and suggested I take the cat to a security room where I could hold the kitty, while they scanned the case.
And that is Kitty's story.
This is very smart. I have taught mine to associate their name with treats. About half will come individually now including Betty already!I am training the gals to come when I call them, I shake the treat container calling them, when they come toe they get treats - of course there is always 1 that just doesn't care!
But by the end of the day I have them all at least egg-cited about getting treats hahaha.
I want to ensure my mum can get them in if they get loose on her when I am not here.
A true Cat Tail (teeheehee)Marvelous! I love a great cat story.![]()
