Well, seems the hawks are back. I was at my house (I moved in with hubby when we got married, my house is rented) yesterday meeting with a realtor and doing some of the spring clean-up. Hubby let the kids out to free range while I was gone. ..and locked everyone up last night. I let them out this morning, and one group is short a girl...one of my reds.:hmm I go looking around and see a 'puff' of red feathers about 50' away from their pen. 😢 I come in and ask hubby if he heard any ruckus while they were out...'oh, yeah, sometime around 6pm there was.' Did you go out and check? 'No. they settled down after about 5 min."🤦‍♀️ Guess my idea of 'supervised free range' and his are slightly different. :( No offence meant to you guys out there...but 'aaarrrrgggggghh, husbands!' What ya gonna' do🤷‍♀️ I love him, but sometimes he needs a :smack
Oh no! So sorry.

She me? I have not revealed.
I will share each one when they tell me their name.
They have a collective name already - The hooligans. Honestly they are crazy chicks!
That's how chicks are supposed to be!🥰🥰🥰🥰 Endearing and aggravating all at the same time:lau. (unlike human teenagers who are just aggravating, their 'endearing' time was earlier.):p
(Note, I work with teens...I am partially serious and partially joking..)

Ok, not the best pic (I mostly have video) but here are Sunshine, Flash and Flo as chicks on my son’s lap. Flash is in the middle. I believe females have darker chipmunk stripes than males, so perhaps we do have a little boy of some kind?

Here are the two Roadrunners as chicks. Just like Flash.

It is hard,as so many breeds have 'chipmunk chicks'...with only subtle differences. That, coupled with the differences within the breeds (i.e. chicks of the same breed vary some in teh striping, darkness, etc.) that it is really hard to tell for sure. Best we can do, I think, is eliminate some as 'not possible'. Would be nice if she gave us a hint or two!!! (hint, hint)
