I was smart and avoided it. Éowyn was glad too as she was with me.

Then consider this, the wind chill was approving single digits, it's snowing and your car is wrecked so it is not making heat. Now you have to wait to be rescued. Horrible situation. 5 dead so far.

Oh no. On the news last night they said no fatalities which surprised me looking at the video.

Oh I am glad I am not the only one with chicken ornaments

We may have too many, they gather under the Magnolia tree in the winter before being deployed in the spring.

Wow beautiful Magnolia amazing, my tree was like that, then we had a wicked bad winter one year I was away and the rabbits chewed the bark off the tree at the 3' high mark the snow was that deep.

The tree didn't survive but has sent up suckers which I have been trying to grow up.....

I babied that tree for years. It was a mear stick when we bought the house. I just love the blossoms every spring. I'm going to be very sad if I lost them this year.

From 2020 when she was just a pullet.

Over 60 vehicles involved. It was only 20 when I first posted. Another 40 vehicles slammed into that pile.

Hattie: Gosh, just look at all that evil white stuff.

Hattie: Boy was Phyllis wrong! I so wanted her to be right...
Aurora: Can't trust that Phyllis...
How can she predict anything, she can't even see a hawk that is RIGHT THERE!
Hattie: That's why we are the sentinals, so she doesn't have to.
Aurora: Well, she should, 'cause I'm done looking at that evil stuff. Again, NOT LOOKING!
Hattie: Fine, just snuggle a little closer, it's cold.
