My office is located in the barnMove into the barn with all the critters then.
Now I'm confusedI truly suspect it is an April fool's joke, but went along anyways just in case, as the college I work at was shut down for 2 days & remote for a week due to a hack. fortunately, they didn't get any data...and it happened during our spring break...so wasn't disruptive...soooo is a possibility...but I still think it is an April Fool's joke. You wouldn't change name/password until AFTER patched/fixes were in place.
Who? Sharach, neverExpect nothing less from @Shadrach !!![]()

The heat plate still exudes heat and heats the area around it. The wonder of the heat plate is that it enables them to control their temp. Chicks with their mum will come out into air temps below 70 until they chill so much they need to run under mum to warm up. The heat plate mimics that process for them.Something puzzling to me. Everything you read says chick brooder temperature should be 95f in week one and reduce by 5 degrees each week. So I should be at 90.
I know the whole logic is different using a heat plate because they press up against it when they get cold.
But during the day the Hooligans almost never go to the plate. Their ‘hang out’ is on top or on one of the branches.
The room is 70-72 degrees depending on whether the sun is aging in the window. That is nowhere close to 95.
It is very strange.
