Glad you are changing the food. Brewers yeast is also a good source. I just happened to have some so have been adding it in to any mash I make for them.
That is good to know brewer's yeast is high in Vit. B.....I have been adding it since I got ducks about 4-5 years ago because it is high in Niacin (is that a B vit.?) and ducklings need more than chicks....and I have just kept adding it year round to all feed...cause it can't hurt. I'm not sure if I add it in sufficient quantities to the adult feed to make a difference...

?A Swallow poop board, maybe?
In the past I put shavings on the floor under their roost location so the pavers don't get stained, and to remind me not to stand Under them hahaha.

I will do something similar and clean the shavings in the morning before letting hens out. The swallows don't spend time in the barn during the day unless they are sitting on eggs.

Yes. Niacin is a B vitamin.

 The chooks found an ant colony while scratching around in the yard.( The ants are the red biting kind). They learned fast that ants are not good to eat. I filled up the colony with DE. That’ll teach those pests to bite my chooks! Poor ladies didn’t know what they were at first. Sometimes an education can be painful.:(

Now for the pun: maybe I should have given the chooks some ant-acid tablets?
