Where I am is not living in luxury or even the slightest a privileged life so little finds mean a lot for me especially when it can brighten up my girls lives.

I found this thrown away, it was impossible for me too carry so I pestered a lovely lad on his way too work to carry it home for me. Next I will plead with my neighbours to help me get it into our garden. (I pity the people I know at times)

This will be so entertaining for my girl's with some ladders in and patched up . Yep, this old girl has lost the plot. Besides I always wanted a play house and now I have got one View attachment 3090526

Housing and Bird Move Update

Hi, friends. Thanks for your inquiries about the move and for all your input regarding chicken housing at the new place. I have an update. We will not be moving after all.

Drumroll, please…

We bought the house we’ve been renting the past 12 1/2 years! We are beyond excited. Just got confirmation that we officially closed and recorded with the county about an hour ago. We don’t have to move. My feathered babies don’t have to move. My human babies will always be able to come home to their childhood home. I feel truly blessed!

Had a horse named Afaf, my Gramma would call her over, and with my Gramma's nfld accent it always came out sounding like #off ().

The one foot does seem weaker. I am not that surprised considering the issue she had with it. Is this worse, better, or similar to right after you took the wettest boot off? For me it is about the change and not so much about what is happening right now.

The trouble is now the other leg! And I think muscle strength in both is reduced.
She got back to close to normal but now seems unsteady. Could be coincidence but in the meantime I weaned her off her vitamin supplements.
I have now restarted those.

Two for Tuesday, Raven and Nefertiti. It became official last night while I was watching a documentary on Egyptian Queens with grandma. When they was talking about Nefertiti she shouted "Thats it's name".

Morning drama:

Jess left the coop with all the adults this morning. Baby didn't. I threw the scratch with the big door open trying to lure the hobbit lot out. Baby screaming for mama, Jess remembered she had a baby (she's running with broody fluff up the whole time), ran back in the big door and promptly attacked the hobbit lot as they were curiously craning necks at the noisy corner. Thing was in there too, but apparently not deemed a threat. Hobbit lot scattered out doors, Hector out the bird door, the girls all out the big one. Hector took refuge in (under)the olive tree until Blanche circled around and pushed him out, meanwhile the girls are all on the other side of the coop and i have to shut the big door. After much herding, Hector joins the girls, no one will circle the coop on the big door side, so herd back around the cliff side. Go turn on light, they finally head in....half of them. Thing comes out after a beak to beak confab with Hector, who goes in, then encourage the last 2 girls in so I know they know how to get in. Go back, turn off light. I'm kinda hoping Jess pushes them out again, but the curiosity is there too. No one hurt, cloudy day, have to work, gonna be a long one.

Glad others have drama like I do!

Me too. Now I'm hoping Jess chases them out again. They need to go exploring.
