Yes - I am worried by Bernadette who seems to have less strength in her legs than the others (I am restarting her intense vitamin regimen).
I am worried about Maggie who has had diarrhea for a month now - fecal sample found no worms or eggs and she is well in herself but it isn't right.
I am worried about DIana because of the soft shell eggs and still laying several a week.
I am worried about all the Hooligans because they don't seem very adventurous but hang out in the brooder napping. It is nothing I can put my finger on - they have moments of crazy running around - but mainly they hang out comfortably with each other napping and chatting.
And finally I am worried about everyone because the duck is back and I worry about AI.
Seriously, I am going through lots of chicken anxiety at the moment.
And last night no fewer than 3 foxes watched me lock up the Chicken Palace.

What vitamins r you giving Bernadette? Is she just not as active or unable to stand or run? My gals all seem ok, is it just youngsters who get like this? Or can older birds also ?

Yes, I know this is a repeat but I can’t resist synchronized sipping by Meatball 1 and Meatball 2 (and yes, they know their names)

Ugh… with how slowly these pictures are loading I’m dreading logging into YouTube to upload my video. And worse a new “battery saving feature” of the iPhone 12 Pro is not only facial recognition, but it can tell when you zone out and aren’t paying attention to it, even when it can see your face, and it first dims, then locks itself 😡 Wild water, we are getting lots of that today. So these might be all my pics from the last week.

How can this taste better than the clean water in the drinkers? I will give them the puddles, everyone agrees they taste the best, but really? Is it the feed dust? Has it started fermenting, adding extra flavour? Has this chicken just figured out the secret of beer? Then again I have also seen the drinking goat pee so… (note this is not due to a lack of water, or clean drinkers, they all get cleaned weekly and refilled about every two to three days, and they are scattered everywhere)
