I believe @RoyalChick uses a regular pasture blend. I love the forage plot blends (for deer), it has some good high protein grasses in it. My chickens love it! I usually buy it at the end of the season, for 50% off, but you might be able to find it now.
I have several pounds of a lovely chicken forage blend from last year. Do you think the seeds are still good?

Bernadette is definitely going backwards. I can't quite catch her on video but her right foot is beginning to take the same position that her left one did earlier with the foot forward and the toes not quite going flat to the ground.
She is spending most of her time on her hocks.
I am just praying that it is a vitamin issue because I tailed off the supplements too soon when I thought she was better, and that I have caught it early enough to recover.
That little girl is swimming in vitamin B with a good load of all the others as well.
She continues to be a champion pooper so no issues there!

What about the bootie for a few days, it acted as a leg support before?

Yes. Germination rate falls off with each passing year (meaning fewer of the seeds will germinate) but they are able to germinate seeds found in ancient Egyptian tombs so I suspect they will cope with a year!

Aw, Bernadette. Sweet baby. I hope the supplements help. Do you know for sure she us getting her share of feed? Does she get any private feedings. H’d be offering bavy bird formula in this situation. However, I may be curbing that in general due to the fat problem. I need to check the dat content. I would not worry about it for a sick baby.

How does she like the hair dryer?
