Oh my goodness! Poor wee kitty galThirsty Thursday #2
I did not expect this as my number 2 post but I figure Betty drank some pool water today.
It happens to every chicken here at least once. Let's hope Betty has learned her lesson.

Oh that is a really clever idea!Wake up, Aurora! I have an idea, Bob. Remember the video of me doing an alarm call for the girls? What if you use something like a whistle? Either some sort of a call that you make yourself or an actual whistle that you blow on when you see the Red Tail?

I believe @RoyalChick uses a regular pasture blend. I love the forage plot blends (for deer), it has some good high protein grasses in it. My chickens love it! I usually buy it at the end of the season, for 50% off, but you might be able to find it now.I have a couple grow boxes that I plan to pull out this weekend. I’ve been pulling out large sections of Burr Clover and would like to replace the bear patches with like a chicken forage pasture blend.
I found a chicken pasture blend on line.I believe @RoyalChick uses a regular pasture blend. I love the forage plot blends (for deer), it has some good high protein grasses in it. My chickens love it! I usually buy it at the end of the season, for 50% off, bug you might be able to find it now.
Two sides that allows minimal movement so the horse can lean against it and if the legs sink the horse goes straight down and doesn't tip over?Have had to accomplish this with downed yearling cattle, it seems like a good idea until you try to implement it… there is a lot that can go very wrong very quickly and easily. I was thinking more like a cattle squeeze to prevent injury from falling down?
Owww milk crate butt hahaha have had that beforeI have slept on bales of hay - very scratchy though.
I now keep a folding camp chair out here complete with a built in side table to hold my tea, water etc hahahaha.
In the summer it's cooler in the barn, so that just sit and commune with the horses, and now the chickiessometime I wonder what they think of me hanging out with them
