Thank you for this!
Anytime! I’ve got several books on Solar Systems For off grid cabins, and this one (despite being more van-conversion centered) is by far the easiest to understand and it’s extremely affordable, I think the paperback also came with the kindle edition as well.

Well unsurprisingly we can’t rely on Dotty’s community spirit. I missed the exact moment but either Diana or Maggie or both just encountered the fence. I looked up to see both in the air with a lot of shouting and flapping. It was a different part of the fence than Dotty’s encounter.
I sure hope they understand this soon!
Of course the best most tasty green things are right by the wires. :(

While Bunny is busy incubating her eggs grandma has picked out another hen to corrupt. I dare not tell her that until Butter took over the head hen spot she was the one who took regular walkabouts in the house when doors were left open. As it is now she's taught the queen herself to use her walker as a roost to enjoy all the seeds off the tops of buns without having to share.

Grandma's got her walker with her, and now she's got even more reason to have it!

I thought the same thing! (See how good I can be at avoiding the dreaded SHRA tax?) Reframing it into “well your chicken friends need you to bring the walker so they have something to perch on when they visit you” means it’s not that she “needs” it, so much as she needs to take it with her for the chickens. It reframes a point of contention into something she can do for the chickens which she enjoys. Next is coming up with a way to avoid or reframe the garden problem. If it’s possible to let the garden helper know what’s happening health wise and that the garden is a problematic area for discussion? Of course if said neighbour is in a similar age Brackett that makes it harder. The person probably thought they were being helpful in mentioning it to her, that it would make her feel better knowing what was going on with it, with no realization of the conflict it would create. Again @RebeccaBoyd :hugs:hugs:hugs
You and your Family are doing a great job in coping with this, and you’re still in our prayers here (and grandma too)

Maggie approached the trenching shovel with every intention of digging some ditches.
But somehow a nap seemed like a better idea.
