So, good news and bad news....

My adorable little Roo has found a new home. He will be leaving Sat with one of his sisters (for company) to go live with 8 loved hens who range in age from 18mos. to 4 years.
I felt that since he is so small (will be 7 weeks on Monday), that he still won't be full sized after quarantine, and he should also have company during that time....so he is going to have one of the BCM girls go with him.

I'm already sad, but I know that if I didn't give him away, he would be headed for freezer camp in the fall...... and he is such a good Roo (again, already!) that I just couldn't bear for him to have that fate.

Sorry, all I have is a side shot of this skinny little butt!View attachment 3133897
This picture at least has a BCM fluffy bottom in it.

Very glad he is heading to a home with some new ladies 💖

Destroyed my fence, killed my rooster friend, tried to poison my tribe, broke into my yard and stole gardening tools, popped the tires on my car. And some other unmentionable stuff.
Has this settled down Alex? I haven't heard much from you on this in a bit. Sure hope it's quieted down...

I have a broody Pullet. Little Xzit has been on one egg and one golfball all day long today. I even brought her inside once, but Jaffar came to my window screaming at me to release my captive!
I did, but now Xzit is back on her egg, inside the coop. That little chook is trouble! :old :barnie
Are you going to let her hatch the egg? Or two even ?

It seemed like the quickest and least messy way to clean it up. And the least polluting too.

The squeezy thing has been such good value. I think I paid fifty cents for it years ago.

I don't think I've ever seen one of those! Great way to get the excess off the roller when you are finished! :bow I'll have to look for one now!
(I still don't think it will prevent my extra drops or sags here or there, though  )
