She will be seeking advice from Phyllis on Beakbook.

Awww - thank you!It wouldn't be fair if this didn't make a POW.
Will the miconazole treat any worms in her proventriculus (blocking passage) and gizzard? No. That is what started all this. She has had diarrhea for weeks. But her crop was fine. And that led to the search for parasites which found worms and coccidia. And that led to treatment.
All that may be coincidence or it may be that her crop issue is secondary to either the parasites or the treatment.
Poor little lady.
Remember @RoyalChick , while they may resent the treatment....they will live longer, happier, healthier lives for it! Also, think of them a bit like a toddler 'I hate you, mommy" when you tell them 'no' or they get into trouble.....but a few minutes later 'I love you mommy", just because....they really DO love you.Wish me luck for today everyone - it will be a stressful day. I have to give 1ml direct doses of dewormer to all four of the big ladies (it is their 10 day dose of fenbndazole) as well as the two daily doses (smaller but also direct dose with a syringe) to Minnie of miconazole for her sour crop.
That means poor Minnie gets THREE syringe doses today. Poor girl. I decided to skip the coconut oil (unless she wants it) and the cellulase for today - her crop is still not empty in the morning though definitely smaller - so I don't want to stop treatment but I can't subject her to 5 enforced medicines in a day.
Anyway, this is all very stressful to me because I am terrified I will do it wrong and drown/suffocate my ladies by mistake.
Progress so far this morning: Minnie has had the first of her two daily miconazole doses - she looked at me so resentfully I almost cried. But I offered her a meal worm and she was like "oh, OK. In that case you are forgiven" and trotted off out to fill up on grass and seeds and other stuff that will bung up her crop even more!
Maggie has also had her worm medicine. Let's just say I never, ever want to do that again. She is a whole different kettle of fish compared to Minnie. Maggie has 50% weight on her relative to Minnie and 100% more attitude! She is big and powerful and she knows it! Against all odds I got the syringe in and waited to see if I had caused any respiratory distress - she was making a noise breathing which worried me but she was doing that before we started - I think it was more like a bull snorting in rage. I gave her the medicine and afterwards she kept her beak open panting and I was convinced I had killed her. @BY Bob tells me I would know immediately if I had gone into the lungs with a whole 1ml of fluid - I really hope that is right. She too perked up and took some meal worms from my hand and is preening in the covered run.
I am taking a mental health break before tackling Diana, and Dotty will be after dark.
I am exhausted!
