Oh no. Arizona is sick all of a sudden. She’s not interested in food or treats. She isn’t moving around very much. I’m having her inside away from the other chickens. I’m starting to worry about this being an epidemic of sorts. :he:barnie:hit
Agatha has been like this but is still drinking water.
I'm having the scaffolding taken down and one of the lads has chickens same said for his cousin who lives nearby. He said that Agatha may have picked up a sharp stone and hurt her throat. He advised water melon to get get her eating.

She's gone for cucumber and damp bread today I put Verm-x on the bread

For the past four days I administered hepar sulf and the past two days bryonia as well. It may be an idea too research their benefits

I think both mentioned loosens the poops so her poops has been runny

Is Arizona pooing? Has she had a pasty butt and is shestilllaying?? Have you been hand feeding her soft food?

I have made sure Agatha has had food a few times a day but left her too her own choices today. I will give her tablets later for the last time. There's been no more soft eggs or egg of any kind I'm 🙏 this continues

I want to friggin scream! :barnie Found stick tight fleas all over Shenandoah’s face tonight. I had to take her off her perch and administer Vaseline directly on those blood sucking pests. I have to clean out the coop and run again due to this. Where one infestation is, there is bound to be more. I also have to check my own body and clothing as well. I hate this!!!!!!!
I wash then oil my girls for prevention the oil suffercates them. It's swings and roundabouts because I powder them to including the coop

Awoke a short time ago ( usual issue with legs...) And it's raining again. my neighbour and I are just irritated - it's low land here and it takes a while to drain and dry.

Oh and here it comes down again in torrents! What a noise on our steel roofing!

If I could snap my fingers and send this rain to California Arizona and Texas I would do so.

On a brighter note was just checking the barn cams and chuckled to see who was snuggled up to whom in the hen house. With three of them broody and snuggled I'm nest boxes, and Marty always snuggling in her nest box there is lots of roosting space to choose from.

Seems Sophia, Blanche and Penelope are hanging together, Fluffy and Henny Penny, and Rose and Dorothy. Only Buttercup is odd one out, which is normal for her.

Give buttercup extra fruits and treats when no one is looking, that will make her feel special to you
