shoot girl, your week sounds worse than mine! Hugs. I hope that whatever happens to bring her to the hospital next is not too damaging but enough for there to be some support for getting her into some sort of care arrangement. And I would like to send love, and support, and kindness, to you. You can only do so much, and I can’t see what more you could’ve done. Perhaps you can get a phone tree arranged with relatives so that everyday someone phones her and speaks to her at the very least? So if she does fall down and break a hip or something, you will know within a reasonable time frame. Often it’s not the fall that really causes the problem it’s if they are stuck there unable to get up for who knows how long before someone checks in or notices. That might be the only thing left you can do to try to help her.Well, blowups from yesterday and this morning led to grandma going home. We did not take her she called one of her brothers and her nephew. Told them both if they did not come she was calling the police as we were keeping her prisoner. They got here and tried to reason and talk her out of it to no avail. She said if she could not stay by herself she would sell out and go to a nursing home but she hated us and would not stay 1 more minute. Her dr is useless and told us if she would not willingly go to a nursing home she had to be back in the hospital before he would put her in one. Fine, I give it a week before she is back in the hospital or worse. He also said he could not legally stop her from going home and if she called the law he would have to side with her.
