How does Squirrel know about the couch you ask? Grandma and Bubba would be the answer. When Bunny first started laying on the couch Bubba would follow her inside until she got up on it then go back to the door to be let out by grandma. Ever since Bunny went broody and hatched her chicks there Bubba has taken it upon himself every time now the back door is left open to invite every hen he can inside. When it is not horribly hot in the afternoons and early evenings and we are going back and forth doing chores the back door gets left open a lot. So far Bubba has brought in Holly, Daisy, Raven, Chiquita, Squirrel and Blueberry. He and whatever hen he calls inside make a beeline for the couch. Grandma thought it was cute. She is not here anymore and I'm dealing with the aftermath of ruined chickens.
It's considered a safe place to lay, so he's doing his rooster duty and escorting them to said safe place. Shad's solution: break an egg there, mess it all up and let them find it.

I put them on vitamin B yesterday. I've seen other signs. She is walking but something has me unsettled so I figured let's try and address it. You must be seeing the same thing I am.
I am glad. Remember it is B2 specifically that is involved in the myelination of nerves. I see no issue with supplementing the full B spectrum - but B2 is an alternative if you want to be more focused.

Jaffar, we all love you. I am to let you know though that Branch, Bubba, and Ezzie got together and had a talk. They have decided to let you have most of the ladies in the US and Australia excluding the KY girls. But they feel that those Canadian women should be theirs. This is mostly coming from Branch and Ezzie. Bubba says he has his wings full teaching these Kentucky ladies that the couch is the place to lay and hatch chicks.
It's true that your couch is a great proven hatchery. what's not for Bubba to like? He's being a good rooster. You have the Hottest Coop In Town now, all his best clientele expect him to take them there!

So, I have come to accept Ezzie is a boy. I even listened too hours of "I told you so's" from mom. NOTHING is worse then letting her be right about something just so you know. I WILL NOT call him Ezra. Both Rosie and Mom were telling me earlier it's time for a name change. Nope, you two go jump off a cliff, it will always be Ezzie.
I like Ezzie for a boy, I don't see the problem. They could call him Ez for short if they want!
