Here you aren’t allowed to hunt even vermin before sunrise or after sunset. It apparently makes for too many “accidents” The feral goats fall into that “vermin” category, as do deer lol! But you’re still supposed to be a set distance off of roads or your neighbours structures I am sure! Unlike some places in the USA, where you’re allowed to hunt on other people’s private property unless it’s posted otherwise… my favorite is the fake moose silouettes that get put up to catch hunters shooting from inside their vehicles along the highway.I am in rural farm country in Ontario, and its nothing to see farmers out shooting coyotes, coons, foxes....
The kids shoot the traffic signs... They have to be 16 to get a hunting license, but can't own a firearm till 18.
Deer and moose hunting is from Sept to mid Dec depending on your zone and weapon type.
Turkey is in the Spring.
But vermin can be hunted any time.

Dept.of Fish & Game here do that with 'fake' Bucks...that are electronically outfitted to move (head and tail)...and record shots, etc. A friend of my father's got 'trapped' by this, but he was legit,my favorite is the fake moose silouettes that get put up to catch hunters shooting from inside their vehicles along the highway.
