Well guess I better get out there and then get to work.

@Kris5902 I am going to do your suggestion of a quiet quit today.

So everyone can expect to see a lot of me online today (don't ask I might start a rant and then I would owe a lot of tax - I will take the phone to barn right now just in case I need to pay lots of ranting tax!!) checking out all the gorgeous chooks and babies

Perhaps you will let us know what happened at some point without ranting but it feels like you could use these. :hugs :hugs

On the Move

It was a big day here at Fluffy Butt Acres. Quarantine ended this morning. The Rascals moved into the Cluckle Hut first thing this morning.

Glynda found the roost very quickly. Lady Featherington has some issues getting up onto it the first time.

It really got entertaining this evening. I went out before roost time. I opened the top door of the coop but left the bottom door closed. They were fascinated with what was below them.

This was a warning to me about what roosting time might be like.

It was amazing! So quickly she was already used to being touched. 🥰

Glynda wanted to roost with her so much she let me pet her as well. Crazy right! 🥰

That's right, Lady Featherington roosted on my shoulder.

Of course Glynda had to join her.

I let them stay until I could no longer feel any part of my body below my waist. I hated to do it but I put them on the roost in the coop and closed them in. Sleep well my little ladies!
:wee :weeYou have shoulder/snuggle chickens again:love:love It was so sweet that Glynda smooshed up there, too!!

I loved all the pics & videos, too. Thank you for sharing. I just love watching chickens when they are checking out a new space and/or 'mentally measuring' for a jump. What a wonderful way ot start my day...I'm so happy for you!🎉🎉🎉

They say they measure jumps is fascinating to me. I can't get over how quickly they were no longer afraid of me. How did I become an acceptable place to sleep so quickly?

I thought a 'quiet quit' was, one day just up and leave...i.e. go away quietly, no notice at all...????

You know, so all they see is:
