So we are still integrating the two littles with the big girls. They are often cuddled together at a corner of the run where there is no shade in the afternoon, so we still bring them inside to their brooder box from 2-5.

Neither of my broodies (Mama and Jess) plucked their breast feathers.

My hens tend to molt first on the bum and back around their tail. The breast does not seem to be the first place they molt. I vote broody.
 
Getting Down

I have been wondering for some time now Gucci got down off the porch each morning. I was fairly certain she was not using the ramp. Almost none of the hens do. Yesterday I caught her getting down on video.

Goodness. That is a bit scary!
But look at how great her legs are working!!!
