I know. I don't know what else I can do though. I have lots of shrubs and furniture and umbrellas and a roofed run for them to hide in. They certainly seem to stay under their roof when they hear the hawk.
Fortunately the hawk is being bullied by the Mocking Birds (or are they Grey Catbirds?) and I am grateful that they are providing such a good distraction.

You could get a giant cat for protection.

I just use a few treatments of Vaseline directly to the bugs. They eventually leave off in a few days. But I have to be diligent about it.

it suffocates them, I sure hope they leave her be now!
