You can...kinda....caponization requires a bit if surgery and they wind up growing to something like 20 pounds. Dunno what age it has to be done at, and I need the reproduction ability in case of predation.

They are noisy and messy but I welcome them every spring I usually have about 4 or 5 nests on the go in here but this year only 2 and only one of those had 2 broods.

Maybe avian flu killed some off in the spring??

I was debating letting them roost here in the barn this spring, but figured they were less likely to be I’ll and carry it than the geese

While trying to get video of Cheetah chasing The Idiots, I caught this one. Most of the early drama is on the other side of the fenced garden, but there is a chase at the end, and I see some hope for the Idiots too. They're responding to hen "help" calls. Doesn't look like they've quite figured out what to do when they get there, nor do they seem to have a clue when they Cause the call, but they are learning!
