I've found that making a behavioral observation statement is frequently taken as a challenge to demonstrate the direct inverse of the statement. However the above statement will get them to do a 90 degree change or twist it through 3 dimensions into a pretzel with an extra knot, twist, no existent ends, an extra end or otherwise mysterious, frustrating, shocking ways.

Hahahaha

Well stated and very true!

I mentioned way earlier in the summer that I applied for a controls engineer position with our company. The process was drawn out and I had given up on it. Well Friday morning my manager told me that I will be contacted soon to setup an interview. So on to number 2. Blue Bell creamery, makers of the best ice cream in the world. 15 minutes from home. An automation job so Monday through Friday 8 to 5 pretty much. I have dreamed of working there since we moved here 6 years ago. I had a telephone interview with them Thursday and have a face to face interview this Tuesday. Number 3. About a month ago I applied for a automation job with a drilling company that use to be my biggest customer when I worked for National Oilwell Varco. Friday I had a telephone interview with them and they asked if I could come in for a face to face interview. Number 4. When my old boss at NOV heard I was interviewing with the drilling company he was like hey F'er we are hiring. So we talked and I told him my salary demands and he was like yeah that is in range especially given my history there and the manager is a crazy Newfie that I worked for on a couple of projects in the UAE back in 2016. He liked that when I was on rotation he never had to come check on my project because I kept everything on track and on time. My final rotation there he gave me Fridays off with pay because I stayed over to finish up. So there ya have it. I thank God for the opportunities that he has provided for me and seek his guidance in making the best decision should I be offered more than one of these jobs. Worst case scenario is I stay at my present job and I like it there because my manager is a awesome guy and I have a good reputation on the Amazon side and my employer. Bob, tax will be coming once I put the chooks outside a little later.
My choice for you would be 1) Blue Bell, 2) crazy Newfoundlander @ NOV.

I sure do hope you get whatever you heart tells you is right for you ❤️❤️

And who knows if you current boss is anxious to keep you on, then I am sure he will make it happen 😊

Happy Happy Happy For You Tax

It’s grey chilly day here, a reminder that we could have snow soon. I been to many horse shows in mid Sept were me and the horse shivered under a blanket while it snowed great huge wet flakes, while waiting to enter our class.

I dragged Dorothy off the nest box. She has been broody since 23rd July!!!!!!!!!!! I drag her off the nest a few times a day. She eats poops fluffs in the dirt for about an hour then bolts back to the nest box. She is holding her weight so I am just letting her be.

Heaven help us if I ever let her hatch chicks! I think she would be the hen from H E double L!

Wow - that is quite an awesome collection - good on you!
Have you thought through how you will decide between them (I am betting you get offered all of them!). Good to think through in advance how valuable to you the closeness to home, the hours, opportunity for further progression, the people you work with, $$ etc. are, so you aren't caught out with all four of them pressuring you for an immediate answer!
Hope you let us know which one you take.
Thanks RC. Definitely Blue Bell is my preferred choice if they offer but I wouldn't mind going back to NOV and working for 2 of my favorite bosses ever. Things should wash out this week or next. Praying for the best and I truly appreciate yall's support😁

Went to lowes and dollar store you know chicken stuff and a bale of straw to redo the run. Needed to walk and loosen my lower back and hips while I felt good. Now my right foot is numb lol. That's for the neurologist to figure out my face does it too. Have to clean the coop and run this weekend. Too much poop in the coop.

My turn next I hope 🤞

Praying for you to find a job that ya like very soon.

So, a local food pantry gets 'damaged' stuff from farmers and stuff ready to go bad/expire from grocery stores. It is delivered on Mondays, so I went yesterday to see what was left. (sometimes stuff comes in those huge boxes that grocery stores sell watermelons & pumpkins out of!) , as it is free for anyone who wants it (I try to wait, though, so people who need it take it first) I got a load of carrots, some mushrooms, red cabbage, green beans, a couple of zuchinni, and a small head of broccoli. I'm in the process of cooking that up for 'chop.' When it is done cooking and I go to process it in the food processor, I also got 3 small red pears, a container of strawberries, and a container of mixed berries (small) and also a small pkg of 'spicy' microgreens that I will add in! I'm so stoked! Once I add in my oatmeal and a few seeds, I think I will have close to 3 gal. to package!!! While this won't last long this winter given the number of birds I have, it is, imo, a great start. [I feed 1-2 quarts at a time, twice a week in the winter if I have that much, and then I also grow a bunch of fodder...that I also try to give twice a week, but usually ends up 1x week regularly, and a second batch periodically, as, again, with so many birds, I can only fit so much on my windowsills!]

So, while this is chicken related, I still feel I owe tax/pictures of some sort:

1st batch cooked (I have a 1 gal. pot, so this is a little less than 1 gal. BEFORE being put through the food processor)
