Ahhhhh bedtime drama - know it well! Those silkies of mine can run fast when I want them in bed!

I see Gucci is snoozing in the nest box , is it pelting down rain there?

We are on tap for a lovely week weather wise.

Ok well I can hear Pompei crowing guess I better get cracking and get to work

2 fer. The ladies + 1 surprise...

Whiskey is allowed to warm (sunbathing happened, so "chill" is inappropriate) with the Ladies....still no crowing, has been nailing Kren with a beak to the back/head if Kren approaches to near... also noticed Whiskey's "eyebrow" feathers running along side his comb: they're almost as tall as his comb (half plus). Can chickens make the feathers on their heads stand up (without a crest)?

Yea the very top of the comb is more red than anything at the very top. I'll try to get some good pics in the run in the morning when I feed them maybe that's why she didn't eat the corn?

Its not light enough to take pics but everyone is pink

I would guess that they can. I've not really noticed that before but I don't see why not.
