Shenandoah needed some extra “daddy and me” time today. I gave her one hour, then Dakota jumped up on my shoulder. Change of birds I suppose.

I am still fighting this sinuses thing that's now in my chest. So I've had a very spicy soup and now drinking 1 quarter scotch to three quarters water and two teaspoon of honey. I've drank most of it and it's divine

Dakota only loves me, because she knows that I have leftover steaks in the fridge!

Poor Dorothy, I came home today and let them out only to see Dorothy come bolting out the door - half naked!

My apologies for not getting photos, she is shy, ok actually I forgot my phone at the house same as last night which is why I am tardy with photos

She looks like a half plucked chicken

Luckily the weather is ok still and it was sunny, she lay down and sunbathed a bit before Penelope started picking on her.

Now they are all roosting for the night and I had to put her in a nest box as Whiskers was just pecking her so much! She can sleep there for the night, and it will be warmer for her.

So now I have 3 broody silkies, a half plucked molter, and a couple of molters finishing up. Will try for photos tomorrow

Soon need to go do chores for the night, oh my power is out here, but I have a generator so can still have internet and watch tv and most importantly lights in the barn and working barn cams!

That is true, you cannot change anything. Although if there was a time machine I would change one single night. I would decide to stay home instead of going to a auction with my friend. That was the night at 20 he got rear ended, which totally wrecked my back. To be able to ride a horse again without a week of agony is something I miss terribly.
