Sometimes she eats so much I worry she will topple forward from the weight of it all!

Be careful, as she enters old age she may need a crop bra for that food boob!!!

She is a lovely lady! I really like that bit of lacing on her back half of her body, and the bit of bejeweling of the feather tips at her nape/hackles (nape sound so much more delicate and feminine than 'hackles')

I do keep an eye on her but so far so good. She has always stuffed herself to that degree. I remember the first time I introduced her to overgrown weeds I thought she would trip over her crop running back to bed.
She is pretty. She gets more spangles with every molt. At first the only way to distinguish her from Elizabeth was that she had more white at her tail but then she started to get white speckles on her head too.

So much joy!
Diana, who I must say is carbohydrate obsessed, got at the half stale hot dog bun before I could get my act together to film it.
She wolfs down huge chunks and nearly took my thumb as well.
She is now making happy contented sounds looking for any tiny crumbs.
There were a lot of left over buns which I threw in the freezer so they can have another one tomorrow.

Goodness this little lady can pack it away. She just ate half a hot dog bun, then went off into the weeds and was gorging on leaves and seeds and is now back looking for more bun!
At least Maggie had a brief sunbathing nap after the bun!
