:goodpost:

@ManueB The other day I watched a fairly recent movie called "Stillwater". It mostly happened in Marseille. The French woman in the movie somehow remind me of you. [not suggesting you go watch it. My husband said it was sooo predictable and boring, but I thought it was at least OK.😂]
I haven't seen it and hadn't heard of it , or of the actress.
I think Matt Damon is an interesting actor, like other of his generation he made some really good choices but also starred in rubbish films!
I really enjoyed the departed, ocean 11, true grit, and found many things interesting in interstellar. I might try to watch still water out of curiosity 😉.
If I knew at 19 what I know now …..

Oh well can’t turn back the pages of time…

If I knew at 19 what I know now, I would definitely party harder!
:celebrate :ya
If I knew at 16 what I know now, I would have been kinder to my parents and tried less illegal substances.
If I knew at 19 what I know now, I wouldn't have chosen being a social worker in an institution for fostered juvenile offenders as my first career.
If I had known at 22 what I know now, I wouldn't have married.

But I certainly don't have any regrets! It's learning through these experiences that made me who I am today and got me in some place that's pretty similar to my childhood's dreams .

Out of subject tax : my ex-batts when they were 19 in chicken years 💚. Not minding the rain on their pretty feathers.

Love how they roost on that branch! And always one in the crowd who has to be different! ❤️

Agreed on life choices and how they mold us.

Wow - that is a lot to take on board! Overall good I think.
Love the chickens lined up on the branch. Did you give them an umbrella?!

It is Artemisia / wormwood but not sure ( and my app isn't either) if it's annua / common or absinth. If it's absinth it will have a soft fuzz on the leaves. Either way the leaves will work in an infusion to repel worms for animals and help painful periods for women but in small quantity as they are toxic. I make a painful period tea with wormwood leaves, lemon balm, common sage and peppermint, it doesn't taste good but it works.
Edit to add a reminder : it will not fight an installed worm infestation in chickens. It's a preventive measure.

Thank you ever so much for your informative input.

I almost threw these cuttings away. So my next thought is, do I hang them to dry first. I'm also thinking this my be good for pain. I'm so pleased I didn't bin them now 😄

Glad you added the edit - I was about to weigh in!
Artemesia vugaris essential oil has been studied and found also to deter and in some cases actually kill insects - @Marie2020 just like the geranium essential oil and ticks.
Mine died out in the drought so will need to replace next year, but was thinking of hanging bunches of it from the rafters (out of chicken reach) in the Chicken Palace to deter mites and lice etc.
Yet another :goodpost: I'm so happy I have met such clever people. I would have been so upset to have lost this valuable plant I almost dug it out today. I'm going to tie this up right now :D
