Id say #3 is most likely a pullet as those saddle feathers are still rounded and not at all pointy. From what you say and what I have read tail feathers should be ignored at this age for sexing completely.

Thank you for the pictures it means a lot that took time to take them for me I lurk on the breed / sexing forum to learn and its fun to guess. I went from no dang clue to being in-line with the other guessers almost 95% of the time. Its been fun to learn. Breeds are much much harder.

Your babies though are challenging though goodness me definitely cant just look at the comb/wattle development to tell!

To roo, or not to roo? That is my question. It’s early evening and Jaffar is with his ladies. But I’m thinking that he still needs some medication to help with his gurgling. So inside with me, or outside with the hens? (I’m sure that I’m not as of much importance, but I have a more comfortable perch for him than the coop.)
I’m sure Dakota will be coming inside tonight. My few guests will be arriving soon (I mentioned dinner at 6:00)

I was so wrong on both counts. All the chooks stayed in the coop last night. My guests must have scared them.

Ok Im gonna post pics of the chicks I took this morning; but first I noticed yesterday one of the babies resting too much.(lethargic) Today she has runny, smelly poop (diarrhea). I have a bad feeling but the rest of them are ok. I have started them all on Corid (amprolium). I had to do math to figure out the dosage. Gonna keep a close eye on them. They are vaccinated for mareks, but not coccidiosis. I hope she's going to be ok I'm worried now never had a sick chick.

I am still fighting this sinuses thing that's now in my chest. So I've had a very spicy soup and now drinking 1 quarter scotch to three quarters water and two teaspoon of honey. I've drank most of it and it's divine
