Dorothy is so sad looking. I put her up on the round bale she has been hanging out on. I put feed and water up there for her. Hoping for her feathers to hurry up and grow out!!!!

Maggie is also wishing everyone a happy Monday. A bit of her porcupine neck is showing and as in prior molts she is becoming very selective about what she eats. I think the insect protein chicken feed is more appealing than the feed I used to use, but she is still primarily eating what she forages.
Night time temperatures are stable in the high 40s so I am hopeful she gets some more feathers before it gets even colder.

Meanwhile she is warming up in her usual way this morning.

Buttercup not impressed that I won’t let her pester Dorothy

Marty is also mad at me because I had to discipline Mr Pompei for his aggressive biting of Dorothy on her back

Penelope just takes it all in - nothing fazes her!

And Whiskers has decided I am her human these days she follows me everywhere!
