Hi everyone, I hope everybody is well. For some of you who have been on Bob’s thread for a long time, you’ll know that over the last year I started drawing again. Normally arts and crafts projects find their way onto @Ribh ’s thread but as she’s on a bit of a hiatus, I thought I would post it here (and pay Bob some art space tax. )

I’m putting it behind a spoiler if anyone has any issues with nudity as I’m getting, let’s say, a bit more ‘cheeky’.

It’s good that you are doing your art it’s very good, I personally can’t draw a circle let alone a straight line (don’t even go there with my chicken scratch penmanship!).

Everyone was so grumpy yesterday it was hard to get any photos.

Poor kiddo has only one primary feather left on each wing, but as we can see her new feathers are coming in good

It’s good that you are doing your art it’s very good, I personally can’t draw a circle let alone a straight line (don’t even go there with my chicken scratch penmanship!).

Circles and straight lines are hard! If you do them properly! I've been drawing on and off since I was a teenager, I guess I'm getting into my stride now. Thanks PP!

The combs don't have a lot of colour yet....I think it will be a while before they start laying. You will know by both the combs will very bright red and they (some, not all - usually the friendliest) will start to squat for you.

the camera doesnt do the color justice their combs are a lot pinker in person.

Uneggspected variety
I have been in the UK all week and was exhausted from hauling a huge number of books and papers to ship off to various libraries, so I popped in to M&S for a pan au raisin. Truth be told there were only two left so I got (and ate) both.
To get to the bakery counter I had to walk past the eggs and my mind was blown.
They are selling them by breed of hen and seem to be pricing by breed (Marans, Legbar, Leghorns etc.)! There were also duck and quail eggs.

I don’t think her feet are necessarily dirty, I think she just has darker soles. I really like how her feet turned out, actually!

They may be pinker in person, but they haven't really started growing, yet. Once they're like the comb on Maizie (see yesterday's shoulder pic), they're ready to lay. Pippa, who hatched with Maizie and has the same type of comb hasn't grown hers out yet. It's coming, but not there yet.

I've not been on much, 90 pages behind! Making a roof over the big run, family things and then also trying to get refurbished Arlo Ultra cameras working for the coop and run- could not even remove the case to put batteries in two of them, the button would pop but the case wouldn't move. DH may have found a solution, he finally took a look at it (after I've already ordered a brand new single camera Pro 4! OK maybe I'll keep it anyway?)

It's not yet done, roof et al, and the base securing brackets and weighting are not all in yet...
