Good to see Maggie out and about. Hope she is eating today, too!:hugs:fl:love:fl:hugs

And it looks like, at least at the moment, Bernie is minding her manners and respecting her elders!:D
Bernie is highly respectful. She definitely takes third place on food for example. But she just insists on roosting in that one spot and her way of getting it is simply to fly or jump up and hope someone moves out of the way rather than having a big chicken land on their head.
And she really is quite a big chicken - still haven't weighed her - but she is quite an acomplished flyer which surprises me. Not quite at Roadrunner level but not far behind. It makes her a bit scary because she can appear from above with those big long legs extended - so naturally anyone underneath ducks and that creates her opening.

That’s awful. I’ve never had a snake bite me, but I think I would freak out ! Just the idea!
I can understand! I guess I'm just used to it the number of times I've been bitten. To me it doesn't hurt at all really, for chicken snakes that bite me but it depends on the size and type of other snakes. I did wash the wounds of course on me and my little lady.

I've just washed my cutey in mild dish soap with organic liquid soap lemon and bicarbonate. I'm praying this works, his skin feels better and he's sulking.

I ordered horrible stuff but I'd rather waste my money than hurt my lovable naughty boy View attachment 3287923
That scaring nasty is ALL GONE! Now I'm rubbing him in catnip and he's purring like crazy 🤪
