Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble. I remember how hard it was when my father’s dementia started to get really bad. At some point you will need to discuss with the doctor having her declared incompetent to make her own medical decisions. Because even though she may be thinking clearly some of the time, it isn’t consistent enough to make sound decisions.

My father had Parkinson’s and managed to keep it from me for a few years. Once I found out I was worried about him driving because his reaction times were so slow. And the waitresses at his little small town Callie told me they said a prayer every time they saw him pulling in that he wouldn’t get hit making the turn and would stop before he drove into the restaurant. So I asked him if he was still supposed to be driving. His answer was “the doctor hasn’t said I can’t”. So I made sure I went to his next appointment, and asked the doctor point blank how much longer he would be able to drive. The doctor’s answer? “Oh he shouldn’t be driving at all any more, definitely not.” So either the doctor assumed he would no it wasn’t safe, or dad “forgot” that he wasn’t supposed to be driving. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The egg sardine and crumble has gone down well. So they've been fed well got a clean coup and run with a log added for them to stand on .

Both are happy girls today because the weather has cleared up now and they can go under their tree at the top of the garden again 😀

The girls are in, I've left the remainder of their meal in the run , it has a little vinegar in so the slugs are not so interested. Plus I wiped the run floor with salt lavender and pine water and poured the rest outside

I'm tired I'll have to wash my pusscat tomorrow :th

Good then you came on up and do chores and I will hang out here in the heated feed room/office with Sophia and Buttercup 😊 where it’s warm!

My feet are cold! Time for my boots I guess.

I am giving them both Chick Starter in here away from the others - it has that stuff for preventing coccideosis and not sure if you need a withdrawl period for egg laying so don’t want the others to get it.
There is no egg withdrawal period for medicated chick feed.
