A Sad Anniversay

Today is the anniversary of Elphie's passing. It is kind of a watershed moment here at FBA as this was the moment the chicken as pets experiment could have ended. Three deaths in less than 2 years was enough that we almost rehomed Daisy, the greatest hen ever.

I still catch myself from calling Glynda by the wrong name. She is such a joy though. Everything I loved about Elphie and Daisy and more. I'm very lucky. I can't believe it has turned out that way.

No matter what I watch on tv, be it normal, Roku Channel or Peacock that stupid new Chevy commercial plagues me. Thanks to it I have that song "Everywhere' stuck in my head and I do not even like it. Chevy is now evil I tell you, EVIL.

I watched some mega BS on an alleged alien attack in our country.

The lady being interviewed was almost believable but what flew out of her mouth later was obviously BS at it's finest. Give me a break, next we'll be paying for new weapons to defend us mere mortals

HELP ME... There's Where's Jaffar I need help

Awaiting bloodwork , but other than that, Jaffar didn’t cough at any time during the trip. Veterinarian can’t find any obstruction in his breathing .
He started coughing a little, when we got back home.

I had to chase my gals to bed tonight!

Mine really like their bed in this weather just as well there's Asian flu going around apparently. Judging by the stink in our air on Saturday I can well believe it. Today some places were smelling like a pond

What bothers me, is that the veterinarian wouldn’t even try to guess what age Jaffar is. Well over 4 years old though.

I would take that over the non stop political ads we gave running here. 2 big races happening and the ads run back to back flipping candidates each time
