That will be the final verification. But she does not have a wrinkly comb, top knot, or fluffy bum like a Legbar should. If she is a leghorn she may start laying in the winter as they just can't stop themselves so we may yet know this year.It will be interesting to see what color her eggs are.
If they are, she is a leghorn. That is the one color Legbar do not lay.I'm guessing white like princess
I think they were.Oh goodness. They really are mad!
I expect they will lodge a formal complaint over this one.
None!How many do you need?![]()

That seems beefy for a silkie. That's bigger than Phyllis!I was surprised at the weight on my silkies! They 4 of them are between 1.5kg and 1.7kg! Sophia is at 1.7kg right now during her moult.
That is true. It's been too long. Lots of dog photos. Where are the chciken pictures @GregnLetyThey must be happier now is a bit cooler there.
Haven’t seen any photos of your chickies on a while or those Guinea fowl they must be pretty much full grown!
Legbars lay blue or brown eggs. They do not lay white ones.If they are blue then we know for sure she is a Legbar. If they are white she could be either Leghorn or Legbar. At least I think that is how it works.
She is grumpy chicken. That's what she is!
I was shocked when I gave them purple cabbage and got lime green poo out of them. I thought they were all dying. Instead they were "dye'ing".1) Dark green, so from the air look less obvious
2) Black. Black goes with everything.
3) Light brown/beige
4) Dark, chocolate brown
My personal choice would be either 1 or 4. (or, of course, your original option of white)
Color Tax:
(I hope this spoiler works!)
That is what you get when you give your chooks 'red (purple, really) cabbage and a deep orange squash to eat in the same day!
