I gave her what she asked for, then excused myself and got into my car. Drove around the block and came home. The temptation was just too much for me to handle (darn it, my own daughter is her age … sick! ) I don’t know what I really want, but it’s not that!
Take a cold shower you are naughty :duc

I'll tell Jafar to peck your sausage and veg

It was 32 when I got up but 38 now, total overcast but should clear off.
OK, Got the last cup of coffee; the little 5cup coffee pot is now empty,

I started painting the nesting box on Saturday, did the bottom first,-- its just going to be one open box-- no fights over 1 of 6 nesting boxes.

Oops 😬

Oh well. 🤷‍♂️. What are you going to do?

I don’t think I have posted this here yet. My winter modifications mainly consist of some repurposed strip curtains that I can adjust in several configurations depending on weather. I have some corrugated plastic I will be putting on the door to block drafts from that part. Main goal is to stop cold wind from hitting the roosts, and to block excessive rain when it might ice up, while leaving lots of ventilation. I still need to add strip curtains to the side that is open/partially exposed. And I bought a heated waterer (still have to run the cord and plug it in.)

And an attempt at a pretty feather picture (Jasmine). Not as good as @knoturavggrl, but kind of pretty.

Very pretty feathers. 😍

It was +24c here on Thursday, and -2C today - crazy temps!

But at least today the chickies are more active.

With mine the wind is the most limiting factor. If it is windy they hunker down. Cold weather does not slow them down that much
