View attachment 3324660Pear had lost her tail feathers, so I'm delighted to see the new ones coming in nicely. She was also braving the breakfast scrum this morning, so is definitely past the initial "I can't move; my feathers hurt"

The brown chicken at the top of the picture (Jessica?) looks just like Grandma. I think these two chickens will be great friends. Love these pictures. Grandma isn't having any molting at the moment but Tony... I have a picture of him somewhere...

Winter came knocking today... The kiddos were not happy!

Thanks for asking, Bob. The bicycle accident recovery is going fine. I still only have a tiny bit of tenderness somewhere in my right, rib cage. Everything else is completely healed.

Bob, I'll post tax tomorrow. I am physically and mentally exhausted. The HUET was only one portion of the course and probably the easiest. I had the most trouble staying and breathing underwater for 30 seconds with compressed air.
