Wow her back and tail feathers are really something, so glossy and smooth! You did a great job here, and she looks great! Very suave looking in the first forward shot photo #7, just after the great tail feathers closeup (#6). Sort of looks like she’s glancing sideways at all her admirers as she passes them by “On the Avenue…Fifth Avenue…”Photoshoot
Phyllis was up for a photoshoot this morning! I was so excited. It's been a while since she felt pretty enough to be photographed.

yea they all use it@ValarieF
Do all your chooks willingly use that feeder? I made one like that, but they won't use it. I suspect it is two-fold. I made it after my then current groups were adults, and I have a lot of large comb girls & boys. (Their combs hit when they try to put their heads in) It's too bad, because it is a nice large feeder that is pretty weather-proof. Wanted it for my chicken tractors as the feed bin is outside exposed to the weather.

Oh, my...be still my heart. I always loved him, but what a gorgeous/stunning photo! That would be a lovely photo for a calendar if you ever have one made. perhaps you should submit it to POW?
Elderberry. You could just make a throat soother: smallish tea cup, 1/4 inch vinegar (whatever you can stand), equal amout of honey, fill with boiling water (heat on stove not microwave as it doesn't retain the heat long enough), sip while hot.Does anyone know any kind of tea that is good for cough?
I sure hope that's true.I pray he has a long life as well. I tell him every day he has to at least get as many years as the evil momma hen. She is going on at least 9 this spring.
