On top of crumble apple and cabbage this morning they had raw egg later a bit of cow's liver then in the afternoon they got 1 each of their favourite corn on the cob.

I found dried mealworm with shrimp today so they had that as well. Full crops and a warm coop so I think they are contented tonight

It's hard on everyone.
Health care is a job. It may be a difficult one but the relationships patients have with the nurses won't be as charged emotionally as with their family. Just like kids can act up with their parents and be very different at school.

There's no doubt I think that every single day your grandma spends in your house is a gift of love to her from all of you-- but it's a gift she can't acknowledge.
If it was possible, having her move for a short stay in a home would certainly allow all of you to take a break.
I'm sorry for what you're going through. I don't think I would have the strength to do it.
I would beat some ones A$$. My mom did that you better believe we put her butt in a nursing home and she shaped up real quick. Nurseing homes are the best thing for them.

Oh I am so sad for this dilemma 😢

Holidays just seem to make people sad… such a strange twist when that should so joyous, I sometimes think that all the joys of childhood are used up by the time we get to our senior years 😢🥺
I usually spend it alone with my animals but a friend comes too eat with me a few days before and brings me gifts, I love this guy he's a stroke brother/dad to me (we never agree on certain topics but he's my besty).
I wouldn't even be around today a few times over had it not been for him. So it's all his fault you poor things have me pestering you. :D

I usually loathe Christmas due to all that happened in my past but I'm really looking forward to it this year. 😊 . Maybe I'm a reincarnation of scrooge
