I knew that!
Breed = Orpington
Color = Lavender
Other colors available are: buff, blue, black, white, gold laced and Jubilee. I am not clear on the difference between blue and lavender.
I am making good use of my guide!
Lavender tends to be lighter and more uniform. Blue is usually darker, frequently with a black or extra dark head.

Both front are blue

I am intrigued by the furnace filter idea.
How would you do that? Aren’t those the things that come in a plastic frame? Just hang them up over an opening?
By and large I think the Chicken Palace is OK from a ventilation and draft perspective but in extreme situations like a blizzard I wish I had a way of cutting it down a bit and am trying to figure out how to do that.
I searched "furnace filters, ventilation" and got a bunch of results, aart's in there.
I imagine cutting it to size and using either duct tape for a temporary winter thing, or moulding wood sticks with small nails to hold it in place. I saw someone just stapled it up.
I saw this initially a while ago from aart and again in the search, they got it in a roll: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/ventilation-baffling.75434/

Some times a baffle/ baffles will work well, like jalousie windows in the south. aart's use of cardboard up between rafters as a channeling / deflection idea is good!

Those names fit them so well!
Lark is Indigo's "twin". One hatched under Jessica, the other in an incubator. Jess initially accepted 4 chicks to go with her lone one (not from an egg she laid), then rejected 3. I dont think she could tell the deference between them either. The other 3 came back inside and I went back and got Kren and Whiskey (both of whom hatched after I collected the others). Added them in with Horus, Pippa and Maizie, then moved them into the coop at about 2 weeks so they could learn from watching Jessica teach Lark and Indigo. It worked.

@RoyalChick there's a link in it to where @Sally PB sourced what she used

My dad is hospitalized with Covid in China. I don't think it's very severe, but I am still worried to sick. I'd appreciate any good thoughts. ☹️😢😭

Sorry for being off topic.
:hugs:hugs I am assuming that since he is in a hospital, he is getting decent care??:fl:fl I will keep him in my thoughts!
