My guess is a tumor, or a fat growth... I hope he is okay!

Yes - the up-over-and-out was nicely done!

They have also perfected the going each side of a tree stump or other obstacle so poor Bernie has to pick which one to chase.

I could watch it for hours - it is one new thing after the next!

It doesn’t seem to bother her, but she’s my only laying hen at the moment. So I worry about her.

Here are some pictures of BBQ. These were all from when she was living on my porch a few months back from having bumblefoot. In the first picture, she had just gotten her foot bath, so she was asleep.

Edit: The only one that was not from our bumblefoot fight is the middle one.

It doesn’t seem to bother her, but she’s my only laying hen at the moment. So I worry about her.

The photo isn’t really sharp enough to see but I would say either abscess or tumor.
Is it hot to touch? Does it cause her pain if you touch it? Does it feel solid or tight or just soft?

What does Diana think about all this excitement?

Oh she is enjoying the entertainment.
I have been distributing treats to distract everyone - Diana gets to eat the lion share of those.
Sometimes she sits up on a tree stump and watches them all chase each other. Like a queen watching her knights jousting for her entertainment.
She seems unperturbed by the additions and they treat her with respect. If she approaches a feeder they move out of her way so she has free access to it, but they don’t scamper and run like they do from Bernie.
I have only once see her give a little peck on the head when Babs did her whole takeover of the roosting spot. But that was pretty mild.
Bottom line, I think she is enjoying all the fun from a safe distance.
