Could be chicken pox I bet it goes away.
Yes if it is Foul Pox not much to do with it - just monitor. Like kids with Chicken Pox it will go away.....

Alex - as I said just keep an eye on it and as long as they are eating and running around squawking I would just monitor it.

Some concern for Butters back & tail feathers looking more and more beat. It seemed like she was beginning a molt a long time ago and it's just not progressing? Not fast anyway. We'll see.
That reminds me of Hattie’s feather shredder gene. Any chance that Buckeyes can have it too?

Porch project done

I moved the ladder over a bit so big ladies can more easily get by it on the closer side. I didn't hook the ladder behind the 2x2, it got too complicated for me to find the right hole distance and keep the ladder as snug against the surface as possible. It would have meant cutting a wedge in the plywood too. The welding corners keep the tube away a bit already. Anyway as Bob pointed out, for the weight this should be fine unless I'm going to roost on it! @bgmathteach the S-Biners are not in stock yet.

That is very well done. It came out great and I would have done the ladder the same way.

Great pictures I really like Hazels picture! It showcases how beautiful and varied the humble chicken feather really is. ❤️

They are all eating today. I bought a 1lbs London broil steak 🥩 and have been feeding them with it .
