I don’t think they see me as a protective rooster. And without Diana they have no role model treating me as a friend.

This is my 'little miss friend.' She is always great company for a house bound chicken - no matter the girl! She is past due for freezer camp, but she won't go - I'll keep her as long as she stays on this Earth.![]()

I once kept a telemarketer on the phone for about 30 min - I regaled him with tales from the North how I had to use a dog sled to get to work, and a plane to get into town, and that it was -53C at that time, then when I had enough I told him - well buddy that moose hanging in the tree outdoors isn't going to cut itself up and jump in the freezer - gotta run - nice chatting ....
And I hung uphaha. It was a miserable winter day and I was bored...
They really are a very tight knit group having all grown up together. They squabble but they also seem to have each others backs when it matters most.So wonderful. I love the way they work together sometimes. They really do have friends.
