Thats good mine is still wonky the dr said to keep monitoring my blood pressure and get up and down slowly. Then maybe call next week and come in person to the office. It goes really high and then low and I have been dizzy everyday.
I am sorry to hear this :( I hope they get you feeling better soon!

Love it! How is Lucky doing?
Thanks for asking. I recently had to drain her again, two months after the first draining. She had a couple not-so-great days, but seems better now. She seems to be getting thinner, but has her voice and is eating. I can’t wait for this sunny weekend when they get lots of ranging time!

For all you optimists who thought Eli might opt to sleep on the roost again this evening, I present two fluffy butts in the rafters.
I definitely need an umbrella to walk around under them.
I have covered the glass part of the people door with thick contractor paper so nobody tries to fly through the glass. And I have left the door closed but not latched closed so it should just swing open if hit by a flying chicken.
Now I just have to wait for the morning and hope for the best.

Chiquita is confused how 1 egg turned into 6 chicks but bless her heart she is trying. She is not trying to kill them, lets them all under her and has started after a hour talking to them. I started breathing when I heard her start talking. I think by morning she will have fully accepted them as her and will be fully out of sitting mode and into mommy mode.

I will admit to not leaving them alone for more then 20 minutes at a time since I gave them to her. If it goes bad I'm ready to pull and brood them myself.
Awww so adorable - and yep I bet she is a bit confused! She has raised chicks right? I can't remember if she has or not....

Oh darn! I so had high hopes! Well guess it's a waiting game to see if they grow too heavy to fly up there!

Do you need to borrow my emotional support rooster?
